I cannot say enough GOOD about Heatsavers. From start to finish, all representatives of this company demonstrated the utmost professionalism. They genuinely care about the needs of their customers, wishing only to provide the best service possible. At a time when I was incredibly frustrated with other vendors lack of response and unreliability, they gave me hope that there was light at the end of the tunnel for my gas fireplace upgrade. I want to thank the Customer Service Liason lady, JENNIFER WATT, to whom I spoke with today on the phone. I had a problem with my gas fireplace and Jennifer not only solved the problem but intuitively knew I wasn’t comfortable and was nervous pushing buttons etc. She slowly and with kind patients and understanding, talked me through a few problem-solving scenarios over 3 phone calls. The problem was solved, and I’m now cozy and warm again. Her knowledge and expertise saved me an unnecessary service call for which I am very grateful. Brett made us feel very welcome as soon as we walked into the store and took the time to give us lots of information both at the store and at our home for the estimate. Carrie was first rate with both scheduling and administration of the quote and payments. She even arranged for an earlier installation date then was originally stated. Nice to have our insert installed earlier than expected!! Tom did an absolutely stellar on the installation. Tidy, organized, efficient and very professional, his installation of our Valour Fireplace insert was flawless. Impeccable service by everyone at Heat Savers. Brett the sales rep was knowledgeable. Chris the installer is an amazing professional! He gave me suggestions about moving the gas meter so that the chimney could be installed in a nicer position, and he helped me to contact the Fortis BC planner to arrange the gas meter alternation, even though offering to do these would require him to postpone installation. I salute his professionalism and kindness! Carla, the very nice and capable customer service representative who communicated with me over the phone for many times but whom I never had a chance to meet, demonstrated such a lever of excellence! We live on a gulf island which can come with its challenges when renovating, especially for a new insert - making sure to choose one that fits and looks good in the room without going to the showroom. The folks at Heat Savers were excellent. They worked with us patiently as we considered their stoves and others and answered all our questions, updated quotes and met our schedule when we decided to purchase the Pacific Energy Neo2.5. The install was seamless. Excellent crew. On time, great communication, clean, friendly. We had the insert installed in the summer so won’t be using it for a few months but I’m confident we have many warm, cozy winters ahead. Another thing I’m very happy about is that Pacific Energy is locally made and has a long history in our area. Highly recommend! Heat Savers has changed our home for the better. As my wife and I have gotten older, its been harder and harder to go outside and get wood for our 3 wood fireplaces. A couple years back, Brett at Heat Savers helped us transition one of our fireplaces over to gas. It has been a lifesaver! Heat Savers came and installed the fireplace and it made our lives significantly easier. I have peace of mind knowing my wife can easily get a fire going without going outside for wood. We actually loved it so much that we spent the past year transitioning our other 2 fireplaces to gas as well. This past winter was particularly cold, but the new gas fireplaces kept us cozy and warm. My experience at Heat Savers was a pleasure from start to finish. The showroom is large and the staff is helpful and friendly. Brett and all the staff that I dealt with there were helpful, pleasant and accommodating. I had to change my order twice from the original order and both times it was absolutely no problem and Brett easily accommodated my changing situation. The installation crew was on time, polite, friendly, and got the job done efficiently.The Valor unit that I purchased looks great and the quality is what I expected. I needed parts for my 6 year old napoleon fireplace that has been discontinued. Jennifer in service and parts assisted me over the course of a few weeks. Due to the parts being custom there was no return and I was nervous. Jennifer was incredibly helpful and honestly fun to communicate and work with it. I cannot say enough good things about her. She’s honestly a gem which is hard to find these days dealing with service but she made this a painless and enjoyable experience for me. The parts were also perfect, she was prompt in all of her responses and was on the ball on making sure things happened in a timely manner. You’re in good hands if she’s helping you. ~ Sarah D

Excellent service from Geoff in the store and in our home, and from Dave with the install. Geoff helped us select the right gas fireplace insert for our wood-burning fireplace, and that help included the aesthetic aspects. I had a 'creative' route in mind for the gas pipe, and Geoff arranged for Dave to visit my place a week before the install to view it and discuss it with me. Dave then showed up at the appointed time and day and got busy. He was able to hide the pipe inside my garage wall for a distance, which will facilitate a cabinet installation I have planned. Having dealt with the previous owners and their lack of response to issues and less than stellar customer service and ignored emails...the new owner (Carmen) is OUTSTANDING! She has made good any issues experienced under the previous owners and has been exceptional ever since. Having had many fireplaces from the different local vendors over the years - I now have ties to at least 5 gas fireplaces from Heat Savers (under the new ownership) - and can say hands down don't even waste your time looking around - none of the others even come close. Hi. Just a qwik note to extol the virtues of our interaction with Heat Savers. Initially it was your rapid response (thanks Alex) to come to our home for an estimate and explanation of product. Again, Alex was terrific and sold us on a wonderful product, the Valor stove. She knows her 'stuff' and was very patient and helpful. ie, we were sold. Next came the installation by Thomas, who is very methodical, highly competent and who did a great job of installing the stove. So far we are very pleased, even if the remote is a bit of....well, lets' say, a remote(sometimes frustrating). Otherwise, straight A. Thanks Heat Savers....Fred&Margriet ~ Fred

Very pleased with the result. Advice after on-site inspections was clear and helpful. The quote was very competitive with others. The ability to deliver promptly was impressive. The technical support was impressive. The Valor H3 was easy to understand once installed. For my condo suite there is no need for a fan - the heating occurs very quickly and makes the whole suite very comfortable (>1000 sq ft). I can now look forward to a marked reduction in electricity cost. My thanks to Heat Savers for their help - once again. I would have no hesitation in asking for their help again, and for a Valor Heater, which looks perfect. ~ grant m

We are SO happy with our new Valor fireplace, and we have enjoyed every aspect of the very thorough, friendly and professional service from everyone here. Brett called with a check-in to clarify my questions to the installers. The installers took great care to protect our living room and did very precise cutting work on the stone tiles to ensure the new fireplace fits snugly. There was minimal dust and they swiftly cleaned-up the inside and outside of our house after the job. We greatly appreciate everyone's attention to detail and personal warmth along the way. I recently had Heat Savers remove an old gas fireplace from my house and replace it with a new Valour model. The sales rep Duncan came to my house and listened to what we wanted. He was extremely knowledgeable and experienced in the field. On installation day, Chelsea and Dave attended and in the same day, removed the old gas fireplace, framed in the area for the new one, installed cement board and the new gas fireplace. Chelsea and Dave were amazing and extremely professional. My overall experience with everyone I dealt with was excellent from start to finish. Everyone was polite, smart, clean in appearance and ensured any mess was cleaned up. I cannot express how much my experience with Heat Savers was incredible from start to finish. Dave and Chelsea arrived on time and did an excellent job of removing our old fireplace putting down cover sheets to prevent any mess. The new Valour unit was installed efficiently and they explained the operating instructions and start up process. Both of them were friendly and knowledgeable. All packing debris was removed and area vacuumed before they departed. The Valour fireplace is warm and cozy putting out great heat. Excellent experience purchasing a natural gas fireplace from Heat Savers. Brett was attentive in listening to our needs and finding the right solution for us. We attempted this at many local Victoria suppliers and we could not find anyone who was interested in selling us a fireplace. Recently I came into the store looking for some help with a renovation. We had a 40 year old fireplace that was neither efficient nor particularly attractive. I was first struck by an impressive showroom that beautifully and practically displayed so many options for my wife and I to consider. I was very pleased with the service I received from Heat Savers. I received very useful advice and information in chosing a replacement gas fireplace. The two people who came to do the installation worked efficiently and left no mess and left me with good instructions on how to use the remote control as well as the initial use of the fireplace. (There's a burn in procedure that produces a bit of smoke but is easily taken care of with a few open windows.) Can't imagine the whole project going more easily. ~ Harold G

I reached out to Heat Savers through their web contact form and was connected to Brett. He was responsive and helpful, and I am happy I was able to back-and-forth with him over the last few months. Eventually it worked out that I would be best served by repairing my existing stove instead of replacing it. Instead of trying to sell me something I didn’t need, it was pointed out to me that a simple part replacement could save me thousands. When my stove does eventually die, I will be coming back!
